What is TrustVerify?
A Nigerian platform that helps people check businesses before they pay, and helps genuine businesses build credibility.
How does business verification work?
Businesses submit contact details, registration information and supporting documents. Reviewers check the file. Approved profiles receive a badge and a verification date. Documents stay private.
Can I report a business?
Yes. Customers can submit a complaint. Serious accusations are moderated before they become public. A complaint is not a fraud verdict.
Does a verified badge guarantee a business is safe?
No. It means identity information was reviewed at a point in time. Always take additional precautions before sending money.
How is the Trust Score calculated?
It is an indicator from 0–100 using verification, ratings, complaints, resolution, business age, profile completeness and documents. It is not a guarantee.
Can businesses respond to reviews?
Yes. Registered businesses can reply to reviews and complaints from their dashboard.
How can I register my business?
Open Register Your Business, complete the form and upload supporting documents. Status becomes Verification Pending after submission.
Does TrustVerify guarantee that I will not be scammed?
No. TrustVerify helps you make a more informed decision. It does not guarantee that a transaction is completely risk-free.
